Double Exposures On Film – Digital and Analogue Experiments

A series of double exposures on film from a roll of Kodak Ultra 400. The film was put through the camera twice. The first series of images I shot were of different abstract digital images that I got as a result of shooting directly into a digital projector behind a screen with my DSLR. It had been playing some footage of any eye blinking onto piece of fabric suspended by two desk fans secured by some string at a recent AWOL studios event. Each time I shot the footage/artwork straight inline with the projector’s lens it rendered the footage completely differently with each picture I took. Most of the images were then photographed from my computer screen on the first film run. I did print one to some backlit transparency film and ran it on a light box as well. The film was then reloaded into the camera to allow for a second series of images. These were taken in and around Manchester. With my favourite (first image) taken from the lift in my studio building.
